I was just wondering, sir, if you could explain how you came to spell it PARTTY, rather than, say, PARTTTY or PAR-TAY or PARTYYY or some other variant. We traditional spellers who aspire to coolness are confused about this whole phenomenon of inexplicable and seemingly random (to us) multiplying of letters. Don't tell me it was a typo or I'll cry.
